JOB OVERVIEW

  • This position handles the largest accounts in the agency, and effectively presents, sells, and defends agency work and proposals to clients, and supports other team members in doing the same.
  • The Account Director is client-facing as often as possible, getting to know the business, and building long-lasting relationships with clients. 
  • A strategic thinker, the Account Director can anticipate client needs, sees the 30,000 foot view of their business, and excels at identifying growth opportunities.
  • Successful Account Directors are driven to self-educate in their client categories of business, and will enjoy becoming industry experts on behalf of their accounts.
  • Partners with internal cross-functional teams to understand customer goals and key performance metrics, and exceed those goals throughout the campaign.
  • Leverages technical tools and quantitative data to manage campaigns to success, with high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • The Account Director works on the Account Team and reports to the VP of Client Services.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in an advertising agency, marketing agency, or in-house marketing department.
