Finance Specialist

JOB OVERVIEW
The Finance Specialist plays a hands on role in managing the daily financial operations of the agency while supporting leadership with accurate reporting and strategic visibility. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys daily financial work in a mid sized agency environment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Protecting corporate assets through strong accounting policies and procedures
• Supporting short and long term financial planning, budgeting and capital planning
• Managing banking relationships and overseeing receipt and disbursement of company funds
• Handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger activity and financial reporting
• Coordinating and analyzing financial performance related to revenue, trends, costs and budget alignment
• Maintaining internal controls that safeguard company assets
• Managing cash flow and monitoring liquidity needs
• Overseeing, tracking and auditing media expenses to ensure accuracy and alignment with client budgets
• Supporting procurement processes including drafting RFPs, negotiating terms and developing contracts
• Coordinating the annual audit
• Assisting with special projects assigned by the Agency President
• Monitoring the company’s financial position and identifying potential issues early
This role is part of the Operations and Marketing team and reports directly to the Agency President.

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software preferred
• Experience in an agency or professional services environment preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• This is an in office Orlando based position
