Content Manager

The Content Manager will oversee the development and execution of integrated content strategies across social media, lifecycle email, SMS marketing, and other owned channels. This role focuses on ensuring cohesive messaging, driving engagement, and optimizing performance across the full customer journey.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Oversight

  • Develop and manage cross-channel content strategies that align with client goals and brand voice, covering social media, email, SMS, and digital campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms and campaigns.
  • Partner with account and creative teams to develop campaign concepts, calendars, and content pillars that guide execution.

Social Media Management

  • Lead the planning and execution of organic and paid social campaigns across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc).
  • Oversee community engagement, including monitoring conversations, responding to audiences, and encouraging advocacy.
  • Track performance benchmarks, analyze results, and provide actionable insights for ongoing optimization.

Lifecycle Marketing (Email & SMS)

  • Manage the planning, writing, and execution of lifecycle email campaigns and SMS programs to support acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation goals.
  • Oversee testing strategies for subject lines, creative, and send times to maximize open and conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with deliverability standards, list hygiene, and consent management requirements.

Content Development & Copywriting

  • Write and edit compelling copy for social posts, ad campaigns, email/SMS, websites, and other digital assets.
  • Collaborate with the design team to align visuals with copy and ensure brand consistency.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and oversee production schedules to deliver content on time and at a high quality.
  • Oversee photography and videography needs in collaboration with designers and creative teams 

Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting on content performance across channels with insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor emerging trends, tools, and best practices in digital content marketing, email/SMS, and social platforms.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of professional experience in content marketing, social media, or lifecycle/email marketing.
  • Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns across social, email, and SMS.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills with an ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.
  • Proficiency with social scheduling, analytics, and listening tools, as well as email/SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Attentive).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and applying insights to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with client-facing experience preferred.
  • Background in marketing, communications, or related field.
